HOW WE PRODUCE

Ranching is part of the Pantanal tradition for over 200 years and is based on the harmonious coexistence with nature

The cattle are raised in extensive native pastures, respecting their wellbeing, and are treated only with homeopathic and herbal medicines.

  1. After birth, calves are identified and registered individually, according to the Ministry of Agriculture’s national laws and certification norms for organic products.
  2. Calves remain with cows until they have been weaned.
  3. Herds are raised in extensive native pastures in the Pantanal, in harmony with the region’s flora and fauna.
  4. The Organic Certification guarantees the processes’ traceability and transparency.  The entire production process of organic beef is monitored and controlled – from the ranch to supermarket shelves.  The seal from the Institute of Biodynamic Certification (IBD) is a guarantee that national and international organic norms were followed throughout the Organic Beef Production Chain.  The IBD is recognized and respected throughout the world.
  5. Organic beef from ABPO is processed in beef production plants certified by the group JBS – Friboi, according to product quality and safety standards.  The commercialized cuts, stamped with the brand “Organic Beef”, guarantee a healthy product – free of chemical residues- and produced in the most natural form possible, respecting the environment and socially responsible.
  6. All employees are legally registered, with decent living conditions, healthcare, and access to education.
